This year’s grants are part of the Community Grant program which consists of grants from the Wilbur and William Cummings fund and the Melvin and Mildred Banks grant fund. The Boone County Conservation District received a special grant from the Melvin and Mildred Banks Conservation District fund. The amount of the grant was $60,000.  Melvin Banks was a founding member of the Boone County Conservation District and donated $2 million for the startup of the fund.

BCCF would like to congratulate all of the grant recipients and wish them well in all of their future endeavors.
